Description
- Checks the power level of most 1.5V and 9V batteries.
- Easy to read color-coded meter indicates battery voltage.
- Tests most general-purpose household batteries and 1.5V miniature button cell batteries.
Reading the Meter
For AA, AAA, AAAA, C, D, and 9V batteries, read the upper scale.
For 1.5V button batteries, read the lower scale.
Red: Replace Battery
Yellow: Low Power – Replace Soon
Green: Good
If the needle does not move, ensure the battery is touching both contacts before assuming that it is completely dead.
Note: The battery tester is powered by the battery being tested. Keep test times as short as possible to avoid unnecessary battery drain. Battery shown in product photo not included.
